  • Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Campaign Dastak to eradicate deadly encephalitis ( inflammation of the brain, caused by infection or an allergic reaction) as it is taking lives of innocent children on the regular basis.
  • UP Government in collaboration with UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) inaugurated Dastak Campaign against Japanese Encephalitis (JE) and Acute Encephalitis Syndrom (AES).

  • Chief Minister said that 38 districts of Uttar Pradesh are affected with AES and JE. 7. Tanzania withdraws from UN refugee programme.
